Qualifications: BSc (Hons), Ph.D.
Amyâ€™s Ph.D. focused on understanding the genetic basis of cognitive impairment and seizure risk in Alzheimerâ€™s disease associated with Down syndrome. She has expertise in transgenic and transchromosomic models of neurological disease, neuropharmacology, cell biology, and neuronal networks, and experience of a wide range of research techniques including molecular biology, iPS cell reprogramming and differentiation, brain slice electrophysiology, fluorescence imaging, and the recording and analysis of EEG.
Amy holds a first class BSc (Hons) in Neuroscience from UCL, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Neuroscience from the UCL Institute of Neurology.Â
