Sam has experience of patent prosecution and drafting as well as in patent searching and infringement proceedings.  He works in fields such as engineering, electronics, network communications, medical devices and physical technologies. Whilst at university Sam undertook summer work at Osborne Clarke LLP as a paralegal where he worked on a patent infringement case concerning electronics for use in mobile phones. Prior to this Sam also spent a summer working at the National Physical Laboratory where he conducted research into the properties of Graphene.  


Sam graduated from Imperial College London with a degree in physics. Sam’s degree covered a broad range of topics including, Optical Communications, Device Physics, Hydrodynamics and Shocks, Cosmology and Atmospheric Physics.
